About Wiggles’s House
Small Creatures, Big Impact
Welcome to a place where worms are heroes, microbes are magicians, and mud is more than just mess—it’s a classroom.
Wiggles’s House is an upcoming environmental education zone nestled within Highland Farm Park. It’s part worm farm, part soil science lab, and part mud kitchen playground, all rooted in hands-on learning and sustainable living.
Through fun, science, and good old-fashioned digging, we’re building a place where kids and families learn to care for the smallest creatures—and the biggest ideas in soil health and conservation.
What You’ll Find at Wiggles’s House
Worm Farm Observatory
Transparent worm bins reveal the underground world of earthworms and compost in action. Touch, feed, and learn with guided exhibits.
Soil Microbiology Exploration Lab
Peek through microscopes at fungi and microbes. Test pH. Explore what lives below your feet and why it matters.
Composting Demonstration Zone
Watch waste become life with live compost systems, DIY workshops, and free compost days for the community.
Mud Kitchen Playground
A safe, sustainable outdoor play space where kids “cook” with mud, water, and wild imagination.
Why Wiggles’s House Matters
Soil is life. But most people never see the ecosystem beneath their boots. Wiggles’s House aims to change that—one muddy hand, one giggle, one decomposed banana peel at a time.
Our Goals:
- Teach kids about worms, microbes, and composting through play.
- Support soil conservation and waste reduction education.
- Inspire families to adopt sustainable practices at home.
- Become a model for environmental stewardship through partnership and play.
